Prep for Your Rental

Congrats on your first Upcycle booking. At Upcycle we believe there is something special about connecting guests and hosts and we have written this helpful guide to make sure you and your guest have the best experience.

Before your bike goes out, run through the following list:

1. Make sure it's free of any major dirt and debris a hose / wipe down with soap or bike wash will get it clean. To improve your bike's performance avoid pressure-washing and stick to a lighter pressure garden hose.
2. Check that all bolts are tight and cockpit (stem, handlebars, seatpost clamp) related bolts are torqued correctly as these are the most frequent bolts to get adjusted
3. Wipe down your chain and relubricate it
4. Give the bike a final look over, take photos, and document any known damage

Once this is done, you are ready to meet with your guest to hand off your bike.
